Crisis Media Training


We offer you 15 years experience of crisis media training at the highest level. Training involves either a single scenario which develops in stages, or a range of different scenarios. Duration is typically a day. Our clients include:

Amex, Abbey, BAA, Heathrow, Gatwick, Honeywell, Lloyds TSB, MyTravel, Northern Leisure, Pedigree Petfoods (Mars), P&O, PWC, Reuters, Taylor Woodrow, Virgin Atlantic.

We also assist at short notice companies facing actual or potential crises. We have prepared senior executives for high profile investigative interviews on The Money Programme and Watchdog and current affairs interviews on NewsNight and The Today Programme.

Simon Ellis reported from Ascension Island in the Falklands War and has covered several air crashes. He has extensive experience of handling issues such as plant closures, restructuring and offshoring. He has worked on major crisis exercises for senior police officers at Bramshill, the UK Police Staff Training College.

Jim Ensom reported extensively on the Zeebrugge ferry disaster as a senior BBC journalist covering the Dover end of the tragedy. He also covered the IRA Brighton bombing.

Cathy Smith reported from Zeebrugge on the Herald of Free Enterprise tragedy. She is a former Channel 4 News presenter, BBC Brussels Correspondent and Europe Correspondent for GMTV. She has also worked as a reporter in New Zealand and Hong Kong.
